Our realizations
We invite you to explore selected examples of typhlographic sign implementations. The documentation is divided into two main strands, resulting from different approaches to accessibility: meeting legal minimum standards and mission-oriented activities. Both strands are consistent with our mission to support partners in developing accessibility.
Projects for offices, clinics, schools, hospitals - institutions fulfilling statutory obligations
1. Kashubian Philharmonic
Creating the signs for the Philharmonic provided us with considerable satisfaction, but also presented a challenge we rose to the challenge.
The design not only had to include a floor plan for each floor, but also, in terms of aesthetics and materials, reflect the futuristic structure of the facility,
whose central element is the concert hall, shaped like a large boat suspended within a glass-enclosed space.
The signs were made of 10mm-thick Plexiglas, with semi-transparent prints and a clearly marked grid of rooms.
2. Jankowice Palace near Poznań
The design and production were commissioned and supervised by specialists from BrajPunkt. The board was placed outside the Palace.
When drawing the interior map, we referenced the original style of the room layout, thus capturing the atmosphere of the interior while maintaining all typhlographic standards.
The board was complemented by door plaques with room numbers described in Braille.
3. Pulmonary Hospital in Zakopane
We designed a set of room map boards and door signs for the hospital in Zakopane.
The colors used to mark the room zones are also applied to the door signs. In addition to standard text
and Braille, the signs feature raised pictograms that enhance the message graphically and tactilely.
The board surfaces are designed to withstand frequent cleaning, and the room maps are made to be easy to keep clean.
This proprietary solution is intended for clinics and hospitals, where the boards may require frequent cleaning with strong cleaning agents.
A similar project including door signs with pictograms is the set for the Provincial Hospital in Sieradz.
4. Emergency Medical Service in Sosnowiec
A comprehensive project including typhlographic maps on a pedestal, a mounting element designed for hanging the board on the wall, door signs, and stair railing covers.
5. Statistical Office in Poznań
We designed and produced a typhlographic board printed using the relief printing technology.
6. Municipal and city offices
The boards are designed based on the provided technical documentation. Manufacturing techniques include relief printing and plexiglass-cut room grids.
One of the photos shows the mounting element that positions the hanging board at an angle that aids reading.
7. Puszczykowo City Hall
Commissioned by our partner, BrajlPunkt. Scope of work: co-design and production of typhlographic signs, information boards, and door signs.
8. Gdynia Central Park
For our partner, who is comprehensively implementing the Central Park concept, we created exterior typhlographic signs with the orientation of the park's buildings within the
urban space, interior signs, and door signs - with a "shelf" supporting tactile reading, QR codes containing the sign's content, and mini restroom maps.
9. Clinics in Zielona Góra and Piaseczno
10. Prosecutor's Office
These plans were designed and produced for one of our partners. The plans feature excellent contrast and include clear pictograms.
The room map is made of 3 mm thick plastic, providing excellent tactile feedback and enhancing the aesthetic appeal.
11. Cooperative Bank in Koronowo with its branches
When designing typhlographic signs for the Cooperative Bank in Koronowo and several of its branches, we faced a unique challenge.
We were asked to create a "light" look for the signs that would fit seamlessly into modern interiors. We proposed using thick, transparent plexiglass for both the base and the sign itself.
Accessibility standards require the signs to have a matte, non-reflective surface. We solved this by using opaque white backgrounds for the black lettering and graphic elements.
In this way, we achieved a light effect while still complying with accessibility standards.
12. Cultural Center in Walce
The typhlographic plan is quite large and was designed to clearly present the interior layout.
We used all the techniques typical of a "premium" project: a varnished, matte surface; a grid of rooms cut from 3 mm thick material;
a red "you are here" point, 5 mm high – clearly visible and noticeable; as well as contrasting colors and convex textures.
An interesting solution that makes it easier to read the plan is the use of colors in the legend corresponding to the colors of individual rooms.
A keen observer might notice a minor typo in the original plan. Our client was just such an observant recipient.
In about two weeks, following a complaint, we prepared a revised version and resubmitted it.
In the short video below, we talk about the accessibility standards used in this project.
13. We fulfill orders for large boards
Some spaces require a slight deviation from strict standards, for example, creating a board containing more than one interior map.
We discuss each such case individually with the client, and once all the details have been agreed upon, we begin processing the order.
We present examples of signs created for the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Poznań,
the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kraków, and the Employment Office in Będzin.
Projects for museums, parks, theaters, gardens - institutions guided by a mission related to accessibility
1. Museum of the Landed Gentry in Dobrzyca
For the palace complex in Dobrzyca, we created a large series of state-of-the-art tactile graphics, enabling visually impaired visitors to explore the museum's exhibits.
In addition to standard maps of the palace interior, located on each of the two floors open to visitors, we also developed:
- typhlographic panels with animals living in the park space,
- panels depicting the facades of historic buildings and structures,
- panels with reliefs and wall paintings characteristic of this facility.
The panels containing raised graphics were developed using a new proprietary technology that clearly highlights the most important elements of the depicted object.
The wall paintings, which depict views painted in perspective, were presented in the form of multi-layered plans, allowing a blind person to familiarize themselves with the elements of the work from "closest to furthest."
Audio descriptions provided by palace guides are an essential element of such graphics.
2. Poznań Palm House
Based on materials provided by the Poznań Palm House marketing department, we designed and produced four thematic boards with information about plants and a board with a floor plan of the facility.
The project was completed by adding QR codes with audio description. Simply scan the code with your phone and, without any additional app, enjoy listening to the beauty of nature.
The boards' advantage is their durable varnished surface, resistant to frequent washing in wet conditions and the hot air in the Palm House.
3. Wedel Chocolate Museum
For our partner, who was carrying out a comprehensive interior design project for the newly established chocolate museum in Warsaw, we produced a set of typhlographic
boards containing maps of the rooms, typhlographic boards with graphics about cocoa production, and a set of relief graphics on plywood for drawing in the children's section.
The set also included standard boards with historical information. The client provided the graphic designs.
4. ZOO in Warsaw
A project for the company NAUKOWE PLACE ZABAW.
A dozen or so educational boards were installed in the center of the Warsaw ZOO.
In this complex project, we acted as consultants and manufacturers of the boards, the designs of which were provided by our client.
The boards serve an educational purpose, featuring interactive elements, Braille content, and tactile, raised graphics.
The photos also show us, the manufacturers, checking the quality of the boards several months after production and installation.
5. Masurian Lakes
Commissioned by Grupa Ascot Polska, we produced typhlographic information boards, adding Braille inscriptions to the client's design, which were placed beneath
the black-print text. The boards are located outdoors.
6. Jan Kochanowski Museum in Czarnolas
Several typhlographic panels on pedestals have been placed throughout the museum park.
The panels contain descriptions of museum objects, presented graphically (tape graphics) and descriptively, in Polish, English, and Polish Braille.
The panels are coated with a layer that protects their surface from harsh weather conditions, including high sunlight exposure.
7. Karczma Borowa Forest District - Polish Forests
A series of typhlographic educational boards located in a forest setting. The boards were designed by our team in collaboration with the client.
8. BAJ Theatre in Warsaw
For the BAJ Theatre, we created a series of various typhlographic panels, their distinctive feature being the use of plywood as the base material.
The most interesting panel is the one depicting the outline of the facade of the historic building.
9. Other examples of boards made of wooden boards
10. NEW Amsterdam - project for the Wawel Museum
A set of typhlographic panels containing graphics centered around period costumes.
Some elements are presented using textures, while others, such as a saber hilt, emphasize the natural shapes of the object.
11. The City Museum in Kościan
Implemented under the supervision of specialists from the BrajlPunkt team.
The tactile graphics primarily depict old city seals and similar artifacts. The panels feature raised graphics and Braille descriptions.
12. Roztocze National Park
A series of educational boards also designed for people with visual impairments.
The boards contain descriptions of the plants and animals found in the park.
The boards were designed by our team in consultation with a Park specialist.
13. Archaeological and Historical Museum in Głogów
The panels depict cross-sections, facades, and parks of now-vanished palace buildings in the Głogów area.
The challenge was to recreate the graphics from old, poorly legible archival architectural documents.
14. Podkarpackie Regional Tourist Organization
Commissioned by a team from Rzeszów, we created a large series of typhlographic panels containing embossed drawings of historic Orthodox churches, along with Braille descriptions.
The panels are displayed outdoors, and their durability is confirmed by another order to complete the series.

15. The church in Kościuszko Park in Katowice
An outdoor board. We used several heights for the elements to clearly indicate their hierarchy of importance.
A highly visible QR code was added to the board, which leads to a recording of a narrator explaining the board's content.
16. We created a set of thematic typhlographics for one of the agencies serving museums
This was one of the most challenging projects for us. Presenting the content in the form of convex elements required isolating the most important details from the overall image—those whose shapes allow
blind people to recognize the characters and understand the content of the scene.
Please note three of the works presented. Two of them, depicting silhouettes of people standing close together, required special consideration and decision-making regarding what and how to present through touch.
We decided to isolate the planes containing the most important elements of the composition.
The advice from the specialists co-creating the exhibition was of great support – for example, the suggestion to highlight the raised hands during the vote for the adoption of the Constitution of May 3rd.
Among the most challenging projects was an engraving depicting a nobleman's manor house. The original work depicts a house on a dirt road, surrounded by lush vegetation.
The manor house was shown from an oblique angle, making it difficult to discern its shape by touch. We solved this problem by using plans of varying heights, so that each plan contained elements indicating its spatial location.
The attached video clearly shows the effects of this solution. Our expert, who assessed the graphic by touch (supported by verbal description), correctly interpreted its content.
17. Museum of Remembrance of the Residents of the Oświęcim Region
For the Museum of Remembrance of the Residents of the Oświęcim Region, we created a set of four boards, including three with interior plans and one exterior board depicting the entire museum complex.
Creating the exterior sign proved to be the biggest challenge, as it contained numerous detailed markings.
To clearly organize and emphasize the hierarchy of information, we used three height levels for the elements:
– the museum building was placed at the highest point,
– slightly lower – all communication elements, i.e., internal roads and sidewalks,
– at the basic level – other objects, such as information boards, playground elements, benches, parking lot markings, trees, and historic railway tracks.
Thanks to this approach, it was possible to maintain the readability and hierarchy of information – from the most important, related to orientation and communication, to less important elements, such as green areas.
18. National Museum of Agriculture and Agri-Food Industry in Szreniawa
For the Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa, we created a set of typhlographics depicting agricultural equipment and a map of the General National Exhibition.
The biggest challenge was creating a convex model of the reaper – a device so complex that even a person viewing it in real life needs a moment to understand its operation.
Our tactile graphics aid in this process by presenting the machine as a simplified diagram, with elements closer to and further away from the viewer clearly differentiated in height.
It is worth emphasizing that this type of typhlographics absolutely require supplementation in the form of a verbal description in order to fully convey the content of the exhibition.
In the attached videos we discuss in detail how to create individual tactile graphics.

19. Wolin National Park
The boards designed for Wolin National Park are intended for outdoor use. They will be mounted on observation platforms located within the park.
Together with the Park's specialists, we agreed that of the many birds depicted in the completed graphics, we would highlight only the most characteristic species.
This helps avoid over-stimulation and informational chaos in the perception of the convex images.
Contrasts and color transitions in the plumage have been marked so that color changes can be easily recognized by touch.
The contours of the entire body are also clearly visible. The entire structure has been protected from the elements.
